  2. Context analysis of a Historic Figure assignment
  3. "Tuesdays with Morrie" context analysis assignment
  4. Context analysis assignment – either “Blood Brothers” or “Moving Violations”
  5. Sexuality & Disability assignment
  6. Culminating activity assignment.

 

This course will involve written assignments, and part of your grade will reflect your skill at conveying concepts using clear, grammatical, and precise writing. You should refer to the following resources early in the term, and again as the term progresses:

  1. A list of the 25 most common errors made when writing
  2. Purdue's on-line Writing Laboratory (OWL)
  3. Pearson Prentiss Hall’s “Understanding Plagiarism” tutorial

Feb 06
  • Tuesdays with Morrie - draft version due - submit both a paper copy and an electronic file (individual assignment)

Feb 13
  • Tuesdays with Morrie - return peer-edited versions to original authors (paper document)

Feb 20
  • Tuesdays with Morrie - Revised/Final version due - submit both a paper copy and an electronic file (individual assignment)
  • Tuesdays with Morrie - Also return the draft paper version (with your editor's comments) to me today

Mar 05
  • Today is the final day to submit your analysis of a Historic figure (individual assignment)

Mar 12

·       Sexuality & Disability assignment (individual assignment) is due today

Apr 16
  • The context analysis (group assignment) of either “Blood Brothers” or “Moving Violations” is due today by 4pm

Apr 30
  • Culminating Activity, Part 1 takes place today (class participation)

Apr 07
  • Culminating Activity, Part 2a: The electronic version of this written assignment should be placed in ANGEL's dropbox by 4pm today. (individual assignment)
