1998 ASSOCIATE MEMBER TRAVEL AWARD APPLICATION FORM

DEADLINE: February 24, 1998

To provide support to predoctoral and postdoctoral research trainees showing potential in Photobiology, the Society is offering financial support on a competitive basis. For those wishing to attend the 26th Annual Meeting in Snowbird, Utah, June 11-15, 1998, Society funds have been appropriated for this program and amounts will be allocated to provide a portion of the recipient's total expenses. Nominations from faculty members of those candidates who are suitable recipients of the Travel Award are now being accepted. The faculty nominations should provide data with particular emphasis on those qualities of the nominee which suggest that the candidate will ultimately make significant contributions in the area of photobiology. Note: Predoctoral and Postdoctoral award applications will be judged separately.

To be eligible, the candidate must submit an abstract of a report suitable for presentation at the meeting. The candidate must be an author of the abstract, and if a recipient of the award must present the report at the meeting. If the candidate is not a member of the Society, the abstract must be sponsored by a member.

This form and your faculty nomination letter MUST be submitted with your original abstract and three copies by February 24, 1998.
